Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Oh Ivy, how I appreciate your delicious food, acceptable prices, and quick delivery. The food at Ivy's is is great. For chinese delivery, we can all admit that our standards are willing to flex pretty low. With Ivy's they don't have to, and this makes me happy. I've ordered several menu items, and they have great lunch specials. The moo shoo tofu is excellent, sesame chicken is standard (a little crunchy for me), soups are on point, and again I love delivery. Great place.

We absolutely love Ivy's. The food is so reasonably priced and the portions are relatively large. I feel like you get more if you order take out, and that's probably because their plates just can't handle all the food they want to fit on them! There have been times when my mom is out of town when we've ordered take out from Ivy's 4 times in the same week. The service is okay, the sweet hostess/waitress whom is there every time I have come is a little reserved, but I believe that's just her personality. It's never been an issue though and I think in her position I wouldnt be able to put up with needy customers like me so graciously. The dining isnt upscale but it's quiet and I enjoy how its not snobbishly fancy, just classy and cute. I'm super American so I don't know what classic Asian food tastes like, but the more traditional items on the menu are just better like the Cashew Chicken and Beef with Vegetables. The Sweet and Sour is pretty basic, but I like it when I'm not up for the complex flavors of the afformentioned Cashew Chicken.

I'm currently in the middle of a meal from this place and I stopped to write a review. That should say a lot. I got an egg drop soup, fried dumplings and szechuan tofu. They were kind enough to add pork to my order since they didn't mapo tofu on the menu. It's just, blah. Not a lot of flavor in my entree and just carrots for veggies. The dumplings have a weird flavor, I like the dipping sauce though. Egg drop soup is good. You don't get an egg roll or cheese wonton with it. Going elsewhere next time.

Without a doubt, the best Chinese food in N. Colorado Springs. Big portions, reasonable prices and perhaps most importantly great taste. We had combination Lo Mein noodles (chicken, beef and shrimp) and spicy shrimp, chicken, beef in Garlic sauce. The food was seasoned perfectly and they use quality ingredients (the shrimp was juicy and succulent). Each dish is cooked to order so you can customize it according to your taste. It's relatively a small kitchen so it takes a few minutes to cook...,but it's worth it! Food quality: A+ Price: A+ service: A+ food portions: A+ Tip: for dessert try the donuts (you get 10 for $3.95) and the are delicious
(5)Jessica A.
I'm very picky with Chinese food. But this place in my opinion is one of the best in town if not the best. I eat here as much as I can for work since it is very reasonably priced for lunch with generous portions. You won't be disappointed when you eat here.

Can't speak for delivery, but my dine experience was pretty great. As soon as I sat down the waitress was here with water and menu's for my group, and as soon as we set the menu's down she was there to take our order. Really friendly staff. Hot & Sour soup was excellent and flavorful. Our entrees were done FAST, I was even halfway done with my soup when they came out. Plating was excellent and everything looked and smelled delicious. I got the General Tso's, extra spicy, and it was delicious. Everything was crispy, the sauce was well seasoned, and the rice was actually friend with egg. One person in the group got Pad Thai, it was weird, had a little lime in it, but was still good. Being a Chinese restraunt I'm not going to let the effect the review. Final price for two meals and a coke? $15.35 outstanding food, and cheap to boot. I'll be coming back!
(4)Koko L.
Finally a place that serves a duck the way duck should be served. It could be better if we get authentic duck sauce! Love this place. Consistent and prices are reasonable. Things I love are happy family, seafood hot pot and duck! Just a tip, get out of your comfort zone and order real chinese food, no offense to sesame chicken. Quack!
(5)Emily D.
Holy. Bahoogies. My husband and I are not fans of Chinese restaurants in the Colorado Springs area but after a day of chores, we were craving for some broccoli and beef and sweet and sour pork. So, we went to Yelp to figure out a nearby place that had good reviews for the food they serve. We went with Ivy's Café and we were NOT disappointed! The food is delicious, the soup is wonderful and they were able to deliver to the North Gate of AFA. We ordered the lunch meals and for $19.86, we were able to have so many leftovers for dinner tonight! Screw other Chinese restaurants that boast the best! Stick with Ivy's!!!!!!
(5)Kerri P.
Because we saw the reviews on here, we decided to give it a try... LOVED IT. I had the sesame chicken (fried and in a sweet & hot sauce) husband had the shrimp chow with crispy noodles... we both loved both dishes. I had the hot and spicy soup... EXCELLENT and husband had egg drop - he loved his.
(5)Lynn L.
I am very picky when it comes to Chinese, and Ivy's Chinese is the best I've found. Their food is fresh, with lots of veggies, the service is great (they always remember the drink I like and my regular order), the menu has a good selection, the portion sizes are plentiful, and prices are low. It seems everyone is discovering my hidden secret because it seems to be getting busier :)
(5)Brigitte C.
After moving from the Chicagoland area I really miss good food. REALLY MISS GOOD FOOD! When I put Olive Garden as one of the top italian places it gives perspective. Ivy's has some of the best Chinese food I've had here or in Chicago. The meats are very tender, the sauces flavorful without being greasy. I also love that they deliver on their own (so you are not paying a $5.00 service fee for your meal). Best Chinese food I've had in my 1.5 years here.
(5)Kimmy W.
If it has good reviews on yelp, I expect it to be pretty good. Especially when comments repeatedly say 'best chinese in the springs'. If this is the best chinese in the springs I think I'm done getting chinese food here. The food was bland and generic. The atmosphere was boring. The only good things were the price and our waitress was very nice. We got: Wontons - only good with the sauce, and I rarely like to dip my wontons in sauce. Egg rolls - Terrible, no flavor, neither me nor my boyfriend finished ours Shrimp - over fried and flavorless Sweet and Sour Tofu - generic tasting sauce. I did like the quality of the tofu, it was crispy on the outside. Vegetable fried rice - nothing special, i've had better fried rice at 100 other places Beef and Broccoli - The beef was mushy and over sauced Tofu and Vegetables - different cut of tofu, wasn't crispy on the outside and wasn't nearly as good as the sweet and sour tofu. Of all the types of vegetables the pea pods and broccoli were the only good ones and there was less than 4 pieces of each in the dish. The sauce was watery and flavorless. This food was not good and it does not deserve 3, 4, and definitely NOT 5 stars. You don't even need an appreciation for good Chinese to realize this place sucks.
(1)Tim M.
Read all of the wonderful reviews so tried it with takeout for a birthday dinner. Have to say I was pretty disappointed. Maybe we had a new cook who didn't have it together. Generals chicken and orange beef were pretty greasy and not much meat under batter. Same with sweet & sour chicken, which had the reddest, clearly commercially made and bland sauce. The beef on a stick had a nice teriyaki flavor, but was almost as tough as jerky. Better places are closer that I will try next time.
(2)Kevin W.
Outstanding! Ivy's is easily the best Asian food in the area. The traditional Chinese dishes are excellent, soups are fresh and tasty, and the chicken pad Thai is a huge hit at our house. Love Ivy's!
(5)Christopher R.
Delicious!!! I can only speak for the Fried rice, beef & broccoli and orange chicken. Food is so good I don't even know or care what it cost. The location is small so it can get crowded fast. Still not an issue for me. Just order it to go!
(5)Coss S.
Pho combo is big and satisfying
(5)Paul B.
Food mediocre at best. Worse, they are dishonest about prices and fees on deliveries and had no desire to try to fix it. So, if you want to overpay for very mediocre chinese, I guess this is your place.
(2)Andrew M.
This is average Chinese food. Good, but not great. We had sesame chicken and a vegetable beef dish. Both were flavorful, but nothing to write home about. We both had hot and sour soup that we added some egg roll sweet sauce to in order to add a little flavor. Since there are other better Chinese restaurants in our range of travel, I doubt we'll come back here.
(3)Kamal K.
Had Sesame chicken combo here. The soup and starter were good, but the chicken was delicious and the portion was really large, good enough for 2 !
(4)Chris H.
Friendly staff, good food and cheap lunch specials ($5.95-$6.95).
(4)Brandon M.
Very nice Chinese. Overall a comfortable atmosphere with very good food. The hot pepper chicken I had was delightful and the flavors came out in symphony. The service was alright but not spectacular and my needs were met promptly and well. I will definitely be back soon!
(4)Chris W.
Everything I've had is good. Their lunch pricing is fantastic- one order feeds 2 people for about $7. Also- staff is super friendly. Try the sesame chicken, or fried noodles. Hot and sour soup is great.
(5)Diane P.
My family ate here and we got great food, huge proportions and superb service. The prices are very reasonable each meal can be split between two people or great for left overs the next day. They are very friendly and will accommodate any changes to your meal. Go check them out.....
(5)Roy B.
Excellent. Reminds me of the great Chinese food I would have when I lived in the NY City area. I typically get Chicken w/Broccoli. Love the portion size as well as the price.
(5)Mark V.
Service was awesome. Very friendly staff. Serving sizes were larger than normal. They have the best fried rice in town!!! Definitely a restaurant to revisit.
(5)Brian L.
Had the Mongolian beef, veggie lo mein and egg rolls. Very friendly people. The Mongolian beef was very good and just the right amount of spicyness. The egg rolls were small and a bit different that I am used to.
(3)Eric H.
SCORE! This place is awesome. Great food, great service and very reasonable prices with ample portions. The owners work the restaurant and take pride in their work (they name them after their daughter's). This is at least their third successful location. They used to run a location in Monument and we'd eat there twice a week. When they sold it, we were disappointed. We've been looking for good Chinese ever since. This location showed up with good reviews so we decided to try it. We were so pleasantly surprised to see who was working there. We knew right away it would be good. I've eaten nearly everything on their menu and its all good. They also serve Pho, which I tried this time. Yummy! This is a must try Chinese restaurant -- you'll become a regular.
(5)Sean S.
I'm from the Washington DC area, and I must say this restaurant serves food as good as some of the better restaurants back there. Hands down best in the Springs. And the values at lunch - $5.99 to $6.99 an entree for enough food for lunch AND dinner, make me feel I got my money's worth an then some every time. Ethnic food is very hit and miss in the Springs, but I've found 5 star Chinese in Ivy's and 5 star Thai in Arharn Thai!
(5)R S.
This was some pretty good Chinese delivery. They were VERY fast and the food was HOT when we got it. I guess with the 5-star ratings I was expecting to be absolutely BLOWN AWAY!!!! Alas, I found this to be pretty typical American Chinese cuisine. The lo mein is everything it should be. And nothing more. The egg rolls were top notch, though. The wontons were good. I was disappointed by the kung pao chicken and mongolian beef. The spice level was good-- sometimes these dishes arrive and I find them much to mild. These had a good spice level (not uncomfortable but certainly noticeable). The flavor was there, too. The texture of the meat was very...ermmm... typical of what you find at a Chinese buffet. Really really soft. And that is what brought the rating from a 4 to a 3. I would order from here again. It is near my house so the food is delivered HOT. They are very friendly and the food is A-OK, as my 3 star rating reflects. I also hope to try some other things on the menu that will allow me to boost my rating. And, of course, 3 stars is NOT bad. It was good. I think the 5-star ratings boosted my expectations and left me disappointed. I will try again with the baseline set lower and I'm sure I"ll be pleasantly surprised! HINT: All of the rice that was delivered was fried. Which was yummy. But I prefer steamed rice under my kung pao. Now that I know the default is fried rice I will request steamed in the future. NEXT DAY UPDATE: Okay, now I get it. A night in the fridge lent a normal texture to the meat. It is perfect. 4 stars.
(4)Scott B.
Visited on New Year's Eve for dinner. Lived up to all the other reviews. Very fresh meals, large portions, and great service! Will definitely stop in more often. Recommend you share meals.
(5)Dustin K.
We live in the neighborhood and really enjoy Ivy's. Egg drop soup is awesome. Don't forget the wontons. Never had a bad meal from Ivy's. Clean, courteous fantastic for take out too. Much better than any other Chinese food in the area.
(4)Brock L.
My family and I visited Ivy's for the first time tonight and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food terrific. All of the entrees were huge and we actually took home more food than we ate. We'll be back!
(5)Eileen O.
Great food, quick pick up, great price- 8 ppl ate for $40-ish. Great variety too- able to have a good pad Thai alongside sweet/sour chicken and beef/broccoli. Will order again for sure.
(4)Dan G.
Fantastic Chinese food! Seriously some of the best I've ever tasted. Plus, their service is great and the portions are generous. I regularly pick one meat and lo mein noodles and share, with enough to save for leftovers (for dinner portions, think take-out container FULL of sesame chicken). This is a true gem, a cozy local place in CO Springs serving Chinese food that would EMBARRASS Mr. P.F. Chang!
(5)David C.
Great place to eat. These folks are the former owners of Jasmine Cafe which is located on the Northeast Side of the Springs. I frequented Jasmine at least 1-2 times per week. Loved the place. Due to the location of Ivy's I am not able to go nearly as often as I'd like to. But, the food is excellent. Great staff, great prices, and a very clean establishment. Good Stuff!!
(5)K B.
Driving through colorado on my way back home to the bay area and i accidently came upon this place for dinner. The food is pretty good. The service was excellent and not too expensive. The mongolian beef was delightfully tasteful. The sweet & sour pork was tangy and not too greasy. Definitely, if i drive thru here again, i would come here to eat.
(5)Greg S.
Best Chinese food around North Gate. We were tired of driving to Monument and getting Columbine Gardens...Ivy's is a great replacement and has been our go-to since. Fresh food, great portions, better prices, and lunch specials to die for. Cheese Wontons are smaller portions than most but delicious. We don't bat an eye at any other chinese take away.
(5)Emily D.
Best Chinese food in the Springs, hands down. I've been through some horrible, HORRIBLE food here and trust me, I'm an expert since I am Chinese! Everything they serve is fresh, delicious and worth the price. I highly recommend their shrimp in garlic sauce and beef stir-fried with mushrooms, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. I'm a biiiiiiiig fan of their hot and sour soup since it tastes like my mama's. The fried rice isn't half-bad either!
(4)Brian M.
Four words: Salt and Pepper Shrimp! Sure it's a bit of a classic to some, but these folks have perfected this perfectly fried shrimp dish by balancing the garlic, chili and intensified shrimp taste. The result is what I am officially declaring to be Ivy's new signature dish. I can certainly commend to you the deeply flavorful Mushu Beef, or the wonderfully sweet and spicy General's Chicken with added vegetables, or even the terrific and abundant Combination Udon Noodles, chocked full of meats and shrimp. Go ahead, pick a dish...any dish, and you will be amazed at the portion, quality and flavor. Did I mention the chicken wings? Or how 'bout the....
(4)Roy G.
I ordered the chicken fried rice and an order of sesame chicken. The delivery time was fast. Both containers of food were a large portion and nice and hot. My complaint on the chicken fried rice is that the chicken seemed very much like rubber. Other than that the chicken fried rice was fine. The sesame chicken pieces were nothing like the photo in the menu. The menu had a picture that showed longer, larger actual pieces of chicken in the typical tempura and sauce. What I received was smaller pieces that didn't always seem to have chicken in each. The sesame chicken also had another flavor that I couldn't pinpoint. Not sure if it was just an oil taste or not. The price was actually lower than what I'm accustomed to paying, however I'm always willing to pay more if you see the quality in the product. I see that I'm out of line with many other reviews on this restaurant and therefore maybe they were having a bad night. At this point I'm not sure I would be willing to give them another shot.
(2)Stephanie L.
i love their sesame chicken!! and the staff is very friendly :)
(5)RicoSha C.
Really good food, service a little slow for lunch. Took a lot longer than most places. One waitress for the whole place. I would definitely go back.
(4)Erika P.
Great place for inexpensive but good Chinese food. The place is always super clean, staff can understand you and hold a conversation and the prices are out of this world! Lunch for $5.95? Yes, please!
(4)Ron D.
Ok being from NY and moving to Colorado Springs about 2 years ago I pretty much gave up on finding quality Chinese food. Well I have to say Ivy's comes close to good quality NY Chinese food. My wife enjoyed the Sesame Chicken and I liked the spicey Mongolian Pork. The Wonton was a little bland but by fay the best I have had around here. The Egg rolls are very different then what we were used to but tasty. One thing I really miss that I hope they will consider is real Chinese spare ribs with the bone.
(4)Kathleen G.
Finally found good Chinese food in Colorado Springs. We relocated from the east coast and missed our quality Chinese food until we found Ivy's. Love their sesame chicken, egg rolls are odd but tasty, staff is friendly and helpful and the food is delicious, you even get an almond cookie with a fortune cookie. The only thing missing is the tea bag!
(4)Tim K.
I'm glad I followed my stomach and the Yelp leads to Ivy's. The ambiance is very modest, but the food is excellent. Still the typical Americanized Chinese food that we're accustomed to here in The Springs, but some of the best I've had here. Portions were large, and the lunch price is AWESOME! About $6.50 for entree, soup, rice (steamed/fried) and egg roll. I will definitely be back!
(5)Ken S.
Like these guys. Hot and sour soup is excellent, egg rolls are ok. Ordered garlic shrimp with vegetables, should be on the menu as garlic vegetables with shrimp. Vegetables were nicely done but had to look for the shrimp. Kind of skimpy.
(3)Jason E.
We came in here on a Friday night for some Chinese. First time here, and have to say I was very pleased with the experience. First, the food was excellent. We decided for three entrees. We went with orange chicken, general chicken and chicken lo mein. For me, there's really two areas of concern with Chinese food: crispiness of the chicken and the sauce. The food came out very quick and was a 10/10 on both fronts. The chicken was crispy and held up well to the sauce. The orange chicken had orange zest and reduced orange juice with the perfect amount of tang. The general chicken wasn't very spicy but had a great sweet and sour sauce. The lo mein was probably my least favorite, but I typically don't enjoy lo mein. My wife said it was excellent though. The service was great. The waitress was very friendly and checked up on us often, at the right time. Sometimes service can be too good and seem pushy, this wasn't that. Overall good service, good food, cheap, and fast. It checks all my boxes for Chinese. I am really impressed for such a hole in the wall joint. I'll definitely be coming back.
(5)George L.
Wow o wow! I've been looking for a good place that serves Sesame Beef. I do truly believe that I've found my spot. Not many places make it well, and most are simply just crud. Ivy's is the hands down best in the area. It was quick but still all hot and freshly made to order. **Warning** The dinner portion is HUGE!! It's is enough to split between two hungry people and could go three-ways as well. Just be aware when ordering that you will take home some food. This is by no means a bad thing as it does pretty well the following day. I will be back again to try another item on the menu, but I'm pretty sure that if they can nail Sesame Beef so well that the rest will be just as good!
(5)Robnoxious P.
The scrumptious food here is the best around and you won't need to get a second mortgage to get it. Delivery is executed way above competitors. The sauces and juicy items are sealed and separated. You mix them at home to your own liking! This is our new favorite!
(5)Terry W.
We are NOT Chinese fans by any means but my 8 year old daughter has been saying she wanted to try some. So the other night when were still a little under the weather from a night at Navajo Hogan's (yes we got a little krunk) I ordered some to go. We were not disappointed. The prices were super reasonable and it was really good. Not great but that might because we like Thai more than Chinese but Ivy's is worth the price for sure. Heck it was so good my daughter ate two bowls of leftovers the next day for breakfast. That made me realize she is really a "daddy's girl" because mommy wasn't really digging the fact that she wanted it for breakfast. One other thing I forgot to mention they are a really small location but seemed like it made it where they super attentive to their customers. Heck I was only getting something to go and they made me feel welcomed. Worth the visit for sure, thanks Yelper's for making this happen.
(4)Cool B.
My fav lunch spot on the far northside. Fast service. Fresh food with great veggies Love that they have a brown rice option which is always cooked perfectly.
(5)Sass S.
Went here with high hopes- and it was just ok. The food took quite a while to get out, and unfortunately one of the dishes had a hair in it. On the bright side the manager replaced all of the plates immediately and apologized. I might give it another try- I really wanted to like this place more!
(3)Neelm4ani G.
A great little restaurant super close to home. Walk in or delivery - all welcome. The meal portions are huge . They also accommodate requests. Courteous staff and delivery guy. Great taste at affordable prices.
(5)David G.
After reading other reviews here we decided to do carry-out for dinner here last night. We were disappointed to find that the food was OK, but certainly below average (I'd give it a "low C"). Strangely all of the food seemed underspiced. The Szechuan Chicken (identified on the menu as "spicy") was dominated by large carrot slices, some chicken, but rather little in terms of flavors, and certainly not "spicy". Similarly, the beef lo mein, egg rolls and fried wontons were similarly far too lightly spiced. This does not mean that they had "delicate flavors" created by a deft hand, but rather an almost absence of flavor that could only be designed not to offend anyone. Unfortunately, they ended up neither satisfying, much less delighting our party. We will be back in this area, but I don't see us returning here. COS much have better Chinese food to offer!
(2)Brenda D.
I always get the shrimp pad thai and it is so delicious! The food is always hot and fresh. Love this place!
(5)Debbie B.
I have to lower my rating from 4 to 3 because I got sick after eating here last time. Do they use MSG? If yes, that could explain it.
(3)Vinay B.
Great little joint. Rather limited seating and it can get loud but what makes this place exceptional is the food. I'm not big on Chinese food but if I am eating here, you'll see me focused on my food even if there was a tornado coming my way. It's just super tasty! And decent size portions as well. The staff is very good at keeping up with the crowd and all the orders, the wait isn't usually long. And they're courteous as well.
(4)Nate H.
Awesome Chinese food! Portions are a bit huge but I'm not complaining. Kids ordered lo mein and orange beef and loved it. Wife ordered curry chicken and I ordered the moo shu pork and it was great too.
(5)Brian B.
Stopped here as my wife saw one of their menu's posted at work. Tiny random stripmall location, but wow! Looks like it had only opened a week ago it was so clean and bright inside. Smelled great. We got the Orange Chicken and Twice-cooked Pork with fried rice. Some of the best Americanized Chinese food we've had. Will definitely be back for dinner and lunch.
(5)Laura B.
We've been here several times and recently tried another place out of convenience. We were reminded of how well their General Taos is done! Delicious and staff is so friendly.
(5)Rick S.
Coming from California.... It's alright, probably not gonna get too much better around here in the springs, but hey gotta give it props for what it is! They have a really solid lunch deal, and their dinner portions are huge! I've gotten the orange beef, the sesame chicken, and the Kung pow chicken before also. I honestly didn't care too much for the Kung pow chicken, but the unhealthy fried stuff was pretty good! Fast, hassle free, and probably the best mom and pop fast food Chinese you're going to find in the area!
(4)Jo L.
Recently, I stopped in to have lunch. I noticed that they have pho and decided on the brisket. The broth was ok but not the best I've had. Pho at Ivy's is not recommended. Stick with the Chinese-American food. The service is prompt and friendly. The dining area is clean and bright.
(4)Pam M.
We recently moved into a nearby neighborhood and gave Ivy's a try. Everyone loved it! Friendly service, varied menu. Food served quickly. The Egg Foo Young is the best I've had in C/S.
(4)Dave K.
This is the farthest distance from my home that I travel to eat Chinese. And it's my preferred Chinese restaurant. It's in the little strip mall off of Voyager Parkway. It's clean, has a good menu and probably the best prices of the 10 or so Chinese or Oriental restaurants in the area.
(4)Evette M.
Every time I order it is delicious! The food is never dry or overbreaded and always very fresh without being too saucy.
(5)Stacy R.
My husband and I were super excited to try this restaurant because of the good reviews and we have not had good Chinese food in a long time. BLUF--if you are used to really good, authentic Chinese food, do not expect it from Ivy's Chinese Cafe. If you are just looking for the generic stuff, then Ivy's might be up your alley. I ordered the beef chow fun as it's one of the dishes I use to gauge the quality (and direction?) of a Chinese restaurant. It was bland--not horrible, but lacking any satisfying flavor. Spring rolls were the same. The hot and sour soup was typical of super Americanized Chinese place, very heavy on the soy sauce. My husband ordered a kung pao dish (I forget which one) and it was very bland like everything else. The interior of the restaurant was very clean and service was very fast. But the food was just bad. I normally try to eat at a place a few times before reviewing but I honestly can't bring myself to go back. If you're really, REALLY craving "Chinese" food then Ivy's might satisfy you. Otherwise, save yourself the disappointment.
(2)Tina M.
I had wanted revise my previous comment because my entire family was ill after eating that food. My brother threw up everything he ate and then some. And none of us felt well after eating the food. I would not recommended it!!
(1)Kimmy W.

4 stars.

(4)Tina M.
I had wanted revise my previous comment because my entire family was ill after eating that food. My brother threw up everything he ate and then some. And none of us felt well after eating the food. I would not recommended it!!
(1)Jessica A.
I'm very picky with Chinese food. But this place in my opinion is one of the best in town if not the best. I eat here as much as I can for work since it is very reasonably priced for lunch with generous portions. You won't be disappointed when you eat here.
(5)Tim K.
(5)Colleen J.
(4)Amy D.
(4)Grace P.
(3)Charles A.
(2)Chris T.
(5)Brock L.
P.F. Chang!
